PROGRESS

Since our current leadership was elected in October 2019:

​

• We had our community officially registered as a body in the state of MO and by the Secretary of State.

​

• We organized the community to come together for two successful in-person events before the onset of the pandemic.

​

• We held two Zoom sessions for the community during the pandemic.

​

• We streamlined and better organized communication among leadership through WhatsApp, email, and a conference call account.

​

• We mobilized our youth creating South Sudan YouThrive, and continue to engage with them via social media.

​

• We created a WhatsApp forum for the community.

​

• We wrote a constitution and by-laws to guide the association with legal documentation.
